Either single-width or double-width towers can be customized with a number of platforms, each of which can tolerate an evenly distributed load of up to 360kg on each platform, up to a total of 720kg in all tower.
As with all Instant Upright products, assembly has been designed to be quick and straightforward so you can be at work in just a few minutes. It is deceptively compact and lightweight while being robust and versatile at the same time. The SPAN 400 Mobile Scaffold tower comes with lockable castors on each leg for easy transportation. Each leg is fully adjustable for use on uneven surfaces. The supplied stabilizers should always be fitted where specified.
Although the SPAN 400 tower has been designed to be fully operational in adverse weather conditions, the product should not be used in winds exceeding Beaufort force 4. The scaffold platform should be secured in winds above Beaufort force 6 and dismantled if Beaufort force 8 winds are expected.
With its high reach, this product is ideal for most external work, especially that relating to guttering, painting, plastering and equipment installation.
